The Season 5 key art for The Proof Is Out There captures the moment when the unseen becomes undeniable. Rather than showing the host or a clear subject, the visual focuses on a fragment of mystery, such as a shadowy silhouette, a pulsating orb, or a distorted image, set against a dark, ambiguous background. The composition is half revealed and half concealed, evoking the tension at the heart of the show: what we see, what we don’t see, and what we can’t explain.

The lighting is stark and dramatic, casting a sharp contrast between light and shadow, suggesting that every anomaly is both illuminated and obscured. The color palette leans toward cold, spectral tones of blue, gray, and silver, with occasional flashes of refraction or unexpected color to reflect the otherworldly.

The visual is intentionally disquieting, with clarity always just out of reach. Nothing is fully resolved. The design invites the viewer into a zone of mystery, allowing them to sense that something is there but just beyond full understanding. That uncertainty captures the essence of the show’s promise: the proof might still be just beyond vision, waiting for someone to dig deeper.

In addition to creating key art concepts, I was also tasked with helping create visuals and motion direction for promos by creating assets, storyboarding and directing motion designers.
